It’s always a pleasure to use my available services to help my clients and build websites that they are proud of. My website portfolio displays some recent sites I’ve built. Get in touch with me if you’d like to learn about how I can help you!

Grand County Habitat for Humanity (GCHH) is a branch of the non-profit organization that builds affordable housing for families in need. GCHH had a website, but it had been almost 10 years since it had been built. They were looking for someone to perform a website redesign, fix some functionality problems, and coach them through how to update the new site themselves.

Black Lion was able to:

  • Understand what GCHH was looking for in a new website, and what their pain points were with the old website.
  • Come up with a design, cost, and project schedule that they were excited about
  • Implement solutions to enable their Volunteer and Contact pages, which were broken on the previous site, to be functional again.
  • Create video tutorials to help GCHH to make updates to their new website.

“Luke Kelly of Black Lion Websites did terrific work while redesigning the website for Habitat for Humanity of Grand County in 2021. He worked way harder than we were able to pay him for, and he responded promptly to our input and suggestions. He also put together training videos to help us update and maintain the site ourselves. Highly recommend!”

City Park Alliance

City Park Alliance had an old website that needed updating. The website was built and hosted on WordPress.com, which imposes limitations on the functionality and the design templates they could use, so it was very bland. They also didn’t have anyone who could make website updates, as their website master was no longer affiliated with the group, and no one on the board knew how to update the website.

Black Lion was able to:

  • Add pages and make content updates to the bring the old website up-to-speed in the short term.
  • Transfer content, including blog posts, from WordPress.com to a wordpress.org setup on my server, which freed them from the WordPress.com restrictions.
  • Design the look-and-feel of the website, including graphic design and design of the website infrastructure.
  • Create and embed an interactive map to display different features of the park.
  • Implement interactive functionality to make the website a more interesting site for the visitor.
