I use a simple, yet effective 5-step process to build websites. This website process ensures that we both know what to expect from each other during the website build.
- Free Consultation
We’ll discuss the project details, the timeline, and any other pertinent information regarding the project. After this initial free consultation, I’ll provide a quote for your project. Then, following a signed contract and 50% advance payment, we’ll move on to the Design phase.
- Design
I’ll use the information we discussed in Step 1 to begin designing the layout and functionality of the website. I’ll provide design concepts to you, and I’ll adjust these concepts based on your feedback. Upon your approval of a final design concept, I’ll start the website build.
- Build
In this step, I’ll use the design you approved to begin building the website. During the build, the website will be password protected. You will be able to watch the build happen when I provide the link and password to you. At this time you will submit content for use in the website.
- Launch
After the infrastructure is in place and all the content has been added, we’ll review the website together. At this point, we’ll address any changes that need to be made. When you feel that the website is ready, I’ll launch your new website!
- Support
This step is where I go the extra mile compared to other designers. Post-launch, I’ll provide unlimited support for 2 weeks at no cost to you. Also, a maintenance contract is available if you need me to make updates, but I won’t ask you to pay a monthly fee. I’ll only bill you when you need me.
